Swedish

I don't want to sound like an ignoramus, and everyone we've met here has been so friendly, but this language is strange, inpenetrable, and at times absolutely hilarious. Many words read like Scrabble hands. My favorite direction sign today was to Lårje Hed, but I didn't have my camera with me.

Be sure to make time for a nice Swedish massage while you're in country!

Hi Russell, Enjoy the this leg of your race and all the hilarious street signs! I have some Swedish relatives that I'd direct you to if you had more time to visit. :)

I'm glad to hear that you've been gorging on Nutella. I wish I had an excuse to do the same.

Stay healthy and strong. Hope you have a great run today!!

Remember the Swedish Chemist's shop!

-Good afternoon.
-Can I help you sir?
-Yes I would like some deodorant, please.
-Ball or aro'sol?
-Neither, I want it for my armpits.

That's either a strange language, or a disgruntled sign painter! Glad to hear your running's smoothing out. We want to hear lots of stories when you get home!

Hi Russ,

Congrats on making it to the half way mark! It's the Friday before memorial weekend and it's pretty quiet here at the Hoov.

Young and I are having some friends over for Korean BBQ tomorrow night. We would love to have you over when you get back.

Great news - our greencard came through! We're officially US residents.

We're enjoying your blog and following your journey.
