Running on pillows

Wow. After a running lifetime of looking for shoes that don't make the soles of my feet feel like they've been beaten with steel rods, I found these. Thanks to Marshall Ulrich and many other bloggers for the recommendation - Hoka One Ones:

Definitely funky looking...but miraculously light and wonderfully comfortable right out of the box. I'm in love.

I'm glad you're enjoying them...I just got a pair on Friday, can't wait to take them out tomorrow. They make me about 5'10 though!

I agree. I run a 6 day race (Antibes, 600km), two 24 hours (177 and 186 km) and a 240 km race with them - never run so comfortably, no foot and quads pain, no blisters, no need to change the shoes (well, not true for the 6 days). The HOKA come in 2 flavors, Bondi.B for the road and Stinson.Evo for the trails. I even did a very difficult trail run (123 km, 5'500 m elevation) with the Bondi.B, and it went very well.
And the funky look will get you noticed!
